FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Program Coordinator - First Call for Help Fostoria

The United Way of Fostoria is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly motivated individual to serve as the Program Coordinator for First Call for Help Fostoria. This part-time role (20–25 hours per week) is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting others, values dignity and respect for all individuals, and is eager to learn and grow.
 

Anticipated start date: January 2026.

As Program Coordinator, you will play a vital role in connecting Fostoria residents with essential community resources, services, and programs that support stability, well-being, and an improved quality of life.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for individuals seeking      assistance and connect them with appropriate community resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and utilize client database      systems.
  • Collaborate with community partners, service providers,      and the United Way team.
  • Support program operations, outreach efforts, and      continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure every interaction is approached with professionalism,      empathy, and respect.

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Social Work or a      related field – OR – equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong listening skills and excellent interpersonal,      communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, compassionate, and able to work both      independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client database      software.
  • Residency in Fostoria or the surrounding area is      preferred.
